We open Work Café in Las Palmas

With this opening, we have already added 3 Work Cafés in the Canary Islands, showing our commitment to an innovative distribution model, with unique spaces for clients and non-customers, which integrates all banking services, co-work and specialty coffee shop.

Banco Santander has inaugurated a new Work Café in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, specifically in Avenida Mesa y López, 21.With the opening of this space there are already 3 Work Cafés (1 in urban center and 2 in university campuses) that the bank has opened in the Canary Islands. This multifunctional and modern office model, which integrates financial solutions, collaborative work areas and an environment designed to promote interaction and productivity, has 714 square meters, distributed over two floors and 3 meeting rooms, cowork areas and cafeteria. The office will be staffed by a team of 7 people: 6 commercials and 1 barista. Beatriz Martínez Ruiz, territorial director of Banco Santander in the Canary Islands, said: “We want our clients and not customers to have a differential experience when they enter the Work Café. Its launch reflects the bank’s commitment to an innovative distribution model, with unique spaces for clients and non-customers, which integrates banking, co-work and specialty coffee shop and is based on the physical-digital binomial. In addition, we add value to our clients with events for startups, businesses, SMEs and companies, as well as other groups, such as senior or university youth.” The entity has opened a total of 93 Work Café centers in the country: 31 Work Café in urban centers with all the services and 62 in university campuses, where it adapts the services to the size of these branches.
